Originally designed by Mel Smilow in 1955 and reintroduced in 2013, the Woven Rush Ottoman features a handwoven rush seat atop a solid wood base. In 1955 the Woven Rush Ottoman was chosen and included in the Pratt Institute’s exhibition featuring well designed objects under $25.
