Originally designed by Mel Smilow in 1950 and reintroduced in 2013, the Rail Back High-Back Lounge Chair features a solid wood base with rounded corners on the seat, back and arms. The frame envelopes a two piece upholstered cushion set (COM/COL). Designed to be beautiful from all angles, from the back you can see the elegant wooden rails that create the structure of the frame. The Rail Back High-Back Lounge Chair was designed in conjunction with the Rail Back Ottoman—sold separately.
