How do I place an order?

Please contact us directly for all orders, inquiries, or estimates (info@smilowdesign.com). You can also fill out the contact form on the product page you are interested in and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where are your products produced?

We’re proud to produce all of our products in America. Our Furniture is produced in Pennsylvania, our Lighting is produced in Pennsylvania and New York. Our glasswares are produced in Pennsylvania and Nevada.

What is your lead time?

Our furniture and lighting is made-to-order and requires 6-18 weeks depending on the piece.

Rush orders can sometimes be accommodated for an additional fee. Lead times begin with receipt of deposit. Products ship after balance is paid in full.

Our glass is available ready-to-ship on our site.

Do you offer a trade discount?

Yes. We offer trade discounts to architects and interior designers.

Materials + Care

Our pieces are made from American hardwoods, leather, and brass and have been formulated for durability, ease and daily use. They have excellent water and alcohol resistance. However, over exposure to liquids, extreme sunlight, excessive humidity or dry conditions and extreme changes in temperature are not recommended for any type of wood furniture. All wood furniture will become warmer in its natural tones with exposure to natural light and will evolve and patina over time.

Wood: Wipe down with a water-dampened cotton cloth, immediately followed with a dry cotton cloth. Please do not use strong chemical and abrasive cleaners or ammonia on wood furniture. Oils and waxy polishes tend to leave a greasy or smudgy surface.

Leather: can be dusted with a soft cloth or wiped down with a damp cloth. Avoid saturating the leather with moisture as it could lead to discoloration or staining.

Samples

We can provide a limited quantity of samples upon request. Please keep in mind that our samples only represent a small surface area of the finish/material. Natural materials have unique characteristics and may vary from our physical samples.

Damages

Damages must be documented and reported within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for damages reported after the 48 hour window. In the case that damage has occurred in shipping, packaging must be retained in order for the claim to be successfully processed.

Do you do custom orders?

We offer customizations within our line for some pieces. Quotes for custom inquiries can take 1-3 business days and are subject to up-charges based on size, configuration, finish, and additional labor.
