Smilow Lounge Chair as seen in Peter Som’s apt - featured in Lonny
Look what we found while reading an article on lonny.com. Who knew that the talented fashion designer Peter Som grew up the son of two architects in a midcentury decorated house in San Francisco? In his words, “I grew up in a house full of Bauhaus and midcentury furniture, so having modern classics reminds me of my childhood.” In addition Som is an appreciator for a practical sort of minimalism. “I want comfort and function to be first—but never sacrificing style.”
“At the end of the day it feels like a home—comfortable and filled with things that I love and have collected over the years,” says Som.
