Originally designed by Mel Smilow in 1950 and reintroduced in 2013, the Rail Back Sofa is 94.5” wide with a 26” seat depth. The solid wood frame envelopes a six piece upholstered cushion set (COM/COL). Designed to be beautiful from all angles, from the back and sides you can see the elegant wooden rails that create the structure of the frame. The Rail Back Sofa can be used in conjunction with the Sofa Ottoman—sold separately.
